Best Bakery verdict

Finally some good news on the Best Bakery front. But as Rahul Bose says:

... the people who have been convicted are not the perpetrators or originators of the entire cycle of events and selective blood shed that took place in 2002. These people are just the end results of more devious mind at work and I hope that the future would see those minds being brought to book.

i think rahul bose in saying that the real masterminds are ppl who have not been brought o justice is correct but what we also need to remember is that perpetrators of violence whereever they figure in the chain of events should be punished and some of them have been punished
as far as the ones who havent been brought to justice are concerned i guess all we need (by we i mean the country)is to be aware and vigilant about their existance and try to not lose our sanity for their benifit so another best bakery/godhra doesnt happen.

Another important part of the ruling is that Zahira---the witness who turned hostile, will be charged with interference in course of justice and will have to stand trial. Hopefully, this will set a precedent to deter witnesses from becoming hostile---as also in the Jessica Lal murder case.

We are like this onlee boss.
Have he real culprits behind Delhi '84 spent an hour in police station? What about Neillie '83 - surely over 3000 muslims were killed in a day then.

Have a long list of riots if you wish - some under the watch of Dilip's own Pappaji; in your own Maharashtra.

Spare your crocodile tears for someone who cares.

Who the hell is Rahul Bose to give this grand-standing talk? BTW this Rahul Bose has even co-starred with a hostile witness in the Jessica Lal murder case.
After all this, can we at least see justice for the perpetrators of the 1984 massacre? But no - one of the suspects was even a cabinet minister until recently. But all this is ok for the secular brigade. The congress has even apologised for the 1984 massacre, so it is truly secular and the guilty people have been proved innocent.

Its interesting to hear some one say "who is Rahul Bose to comment". India is a supposed democracy and each citizen is entitled to speak on any subject of interest to him. A celebrity (no matter how minor)always gets publicity and provides publicity to any cause of his choice - and it is always positive to note that someone is sticking his neck out to speak on this sensitive subhect, when mearly all dissent has been stifled in the main stream media. the staunchly pro Modi TOI in Bose's Mumbai e.g.

The real point is how few people today are willing to speak about minority rights in the media today.
