Little help and no justice

21 years with little help and no justice.

What is interesting to me is that despite so many NGOs being involved, the clean up of the toxic site has not been done - is this not something people could do on their own or negotiate? It again boils down to priorities : the idea now should be to look ahead - if you see the petition it talks of what happened - less about what may be done going forward - its just that of late I feel that all the resources of the NGOs are being under utilised and there is a lack of strategic understanding of issues and accountability in the sector as a whole. Just being concerned and involved is not enough - if there is funding there should be accountability and real change - I am not against NGOs just the lack of corporate efficiency in this sector. Being woolly headed idealism will not help counter the sharks.
